What is this client?

This client offers you to upload files from you local computer. It has the following functionality:

• Give a file you want to upload a new name
• Require a password to download the file
• Restrict visibility to only members, or maybe even exclusively to yourself
• Add tags to your files for easier filtering, sorting and accessing

Context Menu!

It adds 3 new functions to your context menu when right-clicking files/folders

• Copy the path to any file/folder to your clipboard
• Immediately upload any file to BFU
• Open the file, ready for upload. If you want to change the name, set a password, etc.

Settings

The desktop client remembers most of your inputs without you needing to do anything, and all others are configurable via the settings

• Link your BFU Account to the client with the API Key
• Enable automatic copying of the result link to your clipboard
• Select the automatic copy type: Direct link or View link
• Set the default visibility. Whenever you open the application, this visibility will be set
• Set the default tags. Whenever you open the application, these tags will be set
• Enable/Disable the log window
• Install/Uninstall the desktop hooks with one click
